Monday, 27 April 2015 5 Notes kaffy's Nikah wedding makeover

This weekend I was opportuned to glam kaffy up for her Nikah wedding.
She wanted me to do what I felt would suit her skin but I insisted she showed me what she wanted, I figured most brides have a certain way they want to look, and I wouldn't want to crush any bride's dreams! :). So she showed me an orange theme makeup look, but we decided to go with a red lipstick rather than orange.
Her skin was really flawless and easy to work on.
We didnt have the opportunity to do a trial but in the end the makeup came out really beautifully.

Sunday, 19 April 2015 5 Notes Tips and Tricks: How to conceal spots and blemishes

People always ask me how I conceal spots and blemishes when applying makeup, so I decided to share that tip here. Its not a big deal, and takes practice and patience to perfect it.
Its really important to cover up all those blemishes to give a flawless and pretty look.
After all, what is the point of wearing makeup if you can't rid your face of those darn spots!

So the first step is to use a concealer, the idea of using a concealer is because it tends to have more coverage than a foundation, and you don't want to use a foundation by apply it layer after layer after layer and look "all caked up", you really dont want that.

The next and most important step is to ensure the concealer is one or two shades darker than your skin tone, the reason is because the darker the concealer the easier it is to blend away the dark spot and blemishes.
The third and final step is to apply the concealer just on the spot and try not to over blend it into your skin, and then apply your foundation and those spots will be gone!
That is basically all I do to hide away spots and blemishes and it has worked for me so far.
I hope this was helpful.

Saturday, 11 April 2015 0 Notes Lilian's Makeover

Hey Ladies!
Hope everyone is having a very lovely election day? Sometime ago I did a face beat on Lilian for her bridesmaid duty. It has to be the fastest makeover I have ever done. In less than 10 minutes I had to be done because she was in a super rush for the wedding she was attending.
I didnt hightlight or contour her face, I was bearly able to use blush and am happy I was able to give her a flawless look and conceal her spot in the little time I had. She wanted a black smokey and and nudes lips.

I had already started on her left eyebrow when I realised I had not take a before picture, so just ignore it.
